Welcome to the AlloPsycho website. These Terms and Conditions of Use (\"Terms\") constitute a legal agreement between you (the \"Client\" or \"User\") and the provider operating under the trade name AlloPsycho (\"the Provider,\" \"we,\" \"our\"). By accessing this site, using our online booking services, or participating in a consultation session, you unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms.<\/span><\/p>

IMPORTANT WARNING \u2014 IN CASE OF CRISIS<\/span><\/h3>

AlloPsycho is NOT an emergency or crisis service.<\/b> Our psychosocial intervention services are offered exclusively by appointment and do not include active 24\/7 clinical on-call coverage.<\/span><\/p>

If you are experiencing severe distress, if your safety or that of others is at risk, or if you are having suicidal thoughts, you must immediately:<\/span><\/p>

  • Call <\/span>911<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • Call the suicide prevention hotline at <\/span>1-866-APPELLE (1-866-277-3553)<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  • Go to the emergency room at the nearest hospital.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    1. Service eligibility<\/b><\/h3>

    Use of the consultation services provided by AlloPsycho is subject to the following eligibility criteria:<\/span><\/p>

    • Geographic limitations:<\/b> Services are exclusively reserved for individuals residing in or physically present within the province of <\/span>Quebec (Canada)<\/b> au moment de la prestation de services.<\/span><\/li>
    • Age requirement:<\/b> Client must be at least <\/span>18 years old<\/b>No follow-up will be provided for minors without a separate protocol that meets all applicable professional requirements (where applicable).<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      2. Services and Appointment Booking<\/b><\/h3>

      AlloPsycho provides individual psychosocial consultation and assessment services remotely via teleconsultation. Appointments are booked through our integrated secure platform, Jane App. The provider reserves the right to decline a request for services if the client's needs fall outside the scope of our practitioners' expertise or the limitations of a strictly virtual practice.<\/span><\/p>

      3. Financial Terms and Payment Methods<\/b><\/h3>

      The client agrees to pay all professional fees in full immediately following the appointment.<\/span><\/p>

      3.1 Payment Methods<\/b><\/h4>

      Payments are done through <\/span>Interac etransfers<\/b> to the official email address provided during billing. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that payment is successfully processed.<\/span><\/p>

      3.2 Insurance Receipts<\/b><\/h4>

      An official receipt for psychosocial services (for insurance claims or tax deduction purposes) will be issued and sent to the client <\/span>upon request<\/b>, once full payment for the corresponding session has been confirmed.<\/span><\/p>

      3.3 Clients compensated by IVAC<\/b><\/h4>

      For clients who's services are partially compensated by L'Indemnisation des victimes d''actes criminels (IVAC) :<\/span><\/p>

      Official request number provided and accepted by IVAC<\/b><\/p><\/td>

      The amount authorized by IVAC is deducted directly from the AlloPsycho invoice. The client is only responsible for paying the remaining balance, if any.<\/span><\/p><\/td><\/tr>

      Request number missing or pending approval<\/b><\/p><\/td>

      The client must pay the full regular rate currently in effect at AlloPsycho. The client may contact IVAC to evaluate the possibility of a retroactive reimbursement once their request has been approved.<\/span><\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>

      4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy<\/b><\/h3>

      In order to respect our professionals' time and ensure that appointment slots remain accessible to all clients, the following cancellation policies apply:<\/span><\/p>

      • Required notice period:<\/b> Any appointment modification or cancellation must be made at least 72 hours in advance.<\/span>\u00a0heures avant<\/b> l’heure pr\u00e9vue de la s\u00e9ance.<\/span><\/li>
      • Late cancellation or no-show:<\/b> i<\/span>n case of a late cancellation or The Client misses their appointment :
        • Between 24 and 72 hours in advance: a fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost will be applied.<\/li>
        • Less than 24 hours in advance (or in the event of a no-show): the full fee will be charged.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>

          5. Management of Technological Failures and Interruptions<\/b><\/h3>

          Since AlloPsycho services rely entirely on online telecommunication technologies, the parties agree to the following contingency measures in the event of a technical failure (network outage, camera\/microphone issue, platform disconnection):<\/span><\/p>

          5.1 Failure attributable to the Provider or general network issue<\/b><\/h4>

          If the failure originates from AlloPsycho\u2019s systems or if the connection quality does not allow the session to be conducted adequately:<\/span><\/p>

          1. The AlloPsycho practitioner will immediately contact the client by <\/span>telephone<\/b> (if a valid phone number is found within The Client's profile)<\/span><\/li>
          2. The parties will decide together whether to reschedule the session for a later date or to continue and complete the consultation directly by telephone.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

            5.2 Connection failure attributable to the Client<\/b><\/h4>

            If the failure originates from the Client's equipment, internet network, or configuration, and it is impossible to complete the session via videoconference:<\/span><\/p>

            • The practitioner will attempt to contact the Client by telephone to complete the meeting.<\/span><\/li>
            • Tolerance for first occurrence:<\/b> If telephone communication is not possible or proves insufficient to carry out the intervention, the aborted session will <\/span>not be charged (no fee) for the first occurrence only.<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
            • Subsequent occurrences:<\/b> For any repeated technical failure originating from the Client during subsequent appointments, the session will be billed at the full rate, as the practitioner remained available for the scheduled duration of the engagement.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

              6. Acceptable Use and Expected Behavior<\/b><\/h3>

              AlloPsycho is committed to providing a virtual therapeutic space characterized by respect, safety, and dignity. Reciprocally, the Client agrees to abide by the following rules of conduct:<\/span><\/p>

              • Strict prohibition on recording:<\/b> The Client is strictly prohibited from recording, capturing (audio, video, or screenshot), or broadcasting any part of a consultation session without the explicit, prior written consent of the AlloPsycho professional. Failure to comply with this clause will result in the immediate termination of the professional relationship and may lead to legal action for violation of privacy and copyright.<\/span><\/li>
              • Respectful Behavior:<\/b> No form of verbal violence, harassment, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or sexually inappropriate language will be tolerated. The practitioner reserves the right to immediately terminate a session if these boundaries are crossed, and the full amount of the fees will remain payable.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

                7. Informative Nature of the Website's Content<\/b><\/h3>

                The texts, blog articles, information capsules, or other textual content published on the AlloPsycho website are provided for purely indicative and educational purposes. They shall in no way replace an individualized clinical assessment, professional advice, or a psychosocial treatment plan. Accessing the content of the website does not create any professional or therapeutic relationship between the User and AlloPsycho until an official consultation process has been initiated in a session.<\/span><\/p>

                8. Applicable Laws and jurisdiction<\/b><\/h3>

                These General Terms and Conditions of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in the province of <\/span>Quebec (Canada)<\/b>.
